Sri Hyma Girls Hostel
Matrusri Vidya Parishat is the education wing of Sree Viswajananee Parishat. The MVP runs
education institution from 8th Class to BA in Telugu and Sanskrit.
The college is established by AMMA on 6th August 1971 and has been running since then with impressive performance in academics and extra curricular activities. The old students are presently heading colleges, schools, departments and running schools across India.
The institution has around 210 students with 130 girls and 80 boys. We provide hostel facility to both boys and girls. The students are from economically weak sections and mostly from the villages and towns. They do not have the support required to have education and employment.
Such children are enrolled into the institution with an intent to provide the graduation and empower them to earn their livelihood and develop the living standards of their families so as to build the society over a period of time.
The institution is constructing a spacious accommodation for Girl child to facilitate healthy living space and congenial atmosphere for undisturbed and pleasant studies so as to empower them to take on the challenges in the outside world and be on their own.
The hostel is of Ground plus two floors with 8 rooms in each floor. Every room will accommodate 6 girls placed spaciously in well ventilated rooms. Every floor will have a separate recreation room provided with indoor games and useful reading material. Every room is independent and furnished.
The total cost of the project is going to be around Rs 3 crs approximately.
The SVJP is pleased to inform the donors that, if a donor donates Rs 3 lacs towards Girls hostel, their name would be inscribed outside a room. And if a donor donates more than 1 lac, the donor name would be listed and placed at the entrance of the Girls Hostel.
The donations to Girls Hostel are exempt under Sec 80G of IT Act and is eligible under Corporate Social Responsibility provisions.
Schedule VII of Companies Act specified the activities which are eligible to claim CSR provisions:
Extract of the Schedule is as below:
(i) Promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly, and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects.
(ii) promoting gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes and hostels for women and orphans; setting up old age homes, day care centres and such other facilities for senior citizens and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups.
General Circular No. 21/2014 of Govt of India clarifies as below:
(iii) Contribution to Corpus of a Trust/ society/ section 8 companies etc. will qualify as CSR expenditure as long as (a) the Trust/ society/ section 8 companies etc. is created exclusively for undertaking CSR activities or (b) where the corpus is created exclusively for a purpose directly relatable to a subject covered in Schedule VII of the Act.

Phase 1 Progress
Sri Hyma Girls Hostel construction is going at full swing with HER blessings. The foundation related works commenced on 7th July 2019 by digging the ground by 4 feet to prepare the basement and foundation.
